Camp Rock is the story of a talented-yet-unsure singer Mitchie Torres (Demi Lovato) whose dream of attending Camp Rock – a camp known for launching the careers of many musicians – comes true when her mom accepts a job in the camp kitchen. Shane Gray (Joe Jonas), lead singer of popular music group Connect 3, is forced back to Camp Rock by his band mates Nate (Nick Jonas) and Jason (Kevin Jonas), who insist he get his ego in check. Shane is on a mission to rediscover his passion for music as Mitchie confronts her fears and learns to step into the spotlight.
