Mr. Nelson at Sea
May 16, 2007 12:07:29
Fred Nelson of 420 Magnolia Street left this week for his solo sailing trip around South America. He plans to be in Rio De Janeiro by mid September, then he will proceed around the Cape via the Straits of Magellan, with an extended stay in Juan Fernandez. His friends gave him a wild send-off bash. Good luck, Fred!
Fred's 32 foot sloop, "Baringo," is equipped with a full suite of communications gear, which allows Fred to chat with the folks back home.
