Adult wiki web started because about a year ago I saw some of the porn star entries on Wikipedia being brutally edited and trimmed down, or deleted without warning. Having domain space available on my server, I set up a complete copy of the active Wikipedia mediawiki installation and installed all the required extensions to ensure it was as up-to-date as possible. Then mined and scraped Wikipedia for all the porn star entries I could find and posted them on the adult wiki.
I then signed up for all of the affiliate programs and began to post the links to official galleries. So that if people wanted to find quality porn through the net, from the Adult Wiki Web thay would only get links to quality porn from the source - nothing repackaged or sent through 10-15 websites before it got to the surfers.
Adult Wiki Web continues to grow, and we are beginning to add to the entries with daily news feeds and rotating gallary links to fresh originl content from the stars themselves.
