Home town Soldier dies

HONOLULU (AP) -- Army Pfc. Eric R. Wilkus, who was based in Hawaii, died of a non-combat related injury he received while serving in Baghdad, Iraq, the Defense Department confirmed Tuesday.
He died on Christmas Day at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, of an injury sustained three days earlier on Dec. 22.
The incident is under investigation, the Defense Department said
