Eyes Perspective
Jul 09, 2007 17:20:25

For simplicity we view with only one eye like cyclopes.

Two-eyed vision depends on the the size and distance to the perceived objects as compared to the distance of our eyes.

Considering two-eyed vision is therefore more complicated than our simulation, in which the size of the blocks is arbitrary.

Moreover, our brain reconstructs the three dimensional positions of distant objects from experience and related objects rather than from the tiny differences of the pictures in our two eyes. This is at the heart of Escher's picture "Relativity".
