What is the Brisbane Broncos Charities Fund?
The Brisbane Broncos Charities Fund (BBCF) was established in 1989 as part of the Brisbane Broncos commitment to the Queensland community. The major objective of the BBCF is to provide encouragement, assistance and financial support for the underprivileged and disadvantaged youth of Queensland.
The BBCF undertakes fundraising activities each year and distributes proceeds to recognised youth charities. Since its inception the foundation has donated over $500,000.
'As a team our success is measured each week, in full view of the public, by our performances on the playing field. As a member of the community our success is personal and our worth measured by how we best serve the wider community through initiatives such as the BBCF'. Cliff Richards, Former Chairman BBCF |

Who Controls the Brisbane Broncos Charities Fund?

Applications for Assistance
The Brisbane Broncos Charities Fund welcomes submissions. All submissions must be received in writing on official letterhead from the participating charity. Financial assistance is directed to charities or charity cases which receive little or no Government assistance and/or other special cases which the Trustees deem to warrant such consideration. Financial assistance to be focused and quantifiable by form of direct equipment purchases or programs.
As the Board only meet on a quarterly basis (typically February, May, August and November), any submissions that require attention by a specific date, need to be received at least 6-8 weeks prior to the date specified. |
