Viet Nam - Service in Country and VA Health Benefits
Posted: Oct 17, 2007

My husband and I are both Viet Nam Veterans who served within the country of Viet Nam. Because we served in country, we are assumed by the Veterans Administration to have been exposed to Agent Orange. This assumed (we were) exposure gives us an immediate 60% service connected disability and qualifies us for Veterans Health Benefits (which we both have). We are in category 6; we pay deductibles. On the Department of Veterans Affairs Application for Health Benefits (VA FORM 10EZ) go to page 2. In Section lV (Military Service Information) we marked yes to box G: Were you exposed to Agent Orange while serving in Vietnam?
