Press Pass is readying a card set chronicling the life and racing career of Dale Earnhardt. The Dale set is 50-card set based on the movie by the same name that aired on CMT back in September.

This unique set depicts the life of Dale Earnhardt from beginning to end. It covers his early life as a small town boy whose father just happened to be one of the winningest dirt track drivers of all times. "Dale" then traces "The Intimidator"'s own career -- from cutting his teeth on the bullrings of the southeast to forever etching his name in the annals of NASCAR racing.

"Every Earnhardt fan -- actually, every NASCAR fan in general -- will want to own this card set," says Heather Maillard, Product Manager for Press Pass. "It's fashioned right after the movie. I think using the actual screen grabs from the film is a great way to tell Dale's story. 'Dale' was an excellent movie that did an incredible job of telling the story in a way that had never been done before. We viewed the film several times over, pulling out screen grabs that we felt would best commemorate the movie in a 50-card set."

The "Dale" card set also focuses on Earnhardt's relationships: with his siblings, his wife, his children, his team owner and his fellow drivers.

The cards show images of Ralph Earnhardt and his legendary No. 8, memorable rides from Dale's own career, some of his most dramatic moments, candid family photos and more.

"Many of the images were never seen by the public until the movie was released," says Maillard. "And most have never before been featured in a trading card set."

The Dale card set is packaged in a handsome collector tin featuring images from the movie. A mini DVD containing a couple of dozen images from the film that can be downloaded and used as screensavers is also included.
