NAPA RACING TIMELINE 
Late 70’s
NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Event Sponsor at Lowes Motor Speedway and Riverside Raceway
1995
Entered back into the NEXTEL Cup with sponsorship of the season ending NAPA 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway
1996
Entered the NASCAR Truck Series as sponsor of the #16 NAPA Chevrolet driven by Ron Hornaday, Jr. and owned by Dale Earnhardt, Inc. Team won the Series Championship. Continued sponsorship of the NAPA 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway and added the NAPA 200 Truck Series race at Tucson Speedway
1997Continued Truck Team sponsorship finishing the season with 7 wins and 5th in the points standings. Added to our race sponsorship portfolios to now include the Cup race sponsorship at Atlanta and the new California Speedway. Added 2 Truck Series race sponsorships to include the NAPACard 200 at Monroe Raceway and the NAPA AutoCare 200 at Nazareth Speedway.
1998Continued Truck Team sponsorship finishing the season with 6 wins and once again winning the points championship. Continued all race sponsorships with the exception of the Tucson event and added a Truck and Cup series race at Martinsville and Busch race at Daytona International Speedway.
1999Continued Truck Team sponsorship finishing the season with 2 wins and 7th in the points standings. Continued all race sponsorships and added 2 truck races, 1 at Pikes Peak and 1 at California. Added 2 Busch races, 1 at Pikes Peak and the other at Michigan. NAPA sponsored 11 different races over the course of the year.
2000Advanced into the NASCAR Busch Series with Ron Hornaday, Jr. and Dale Earnhardt, Inc. Finished the season 5th in points with 2 wins. Race sponsorships continued with 3 Cup races, Atlanta, California and Martinsville. 3 Busch races, Daytona, Pikes Peak and Michigan and 1 Truck race at Martinsville.
2001Advanced into the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series with Dale Earnhardt, Inc. and Michael Waltrip at the driver. Won the Daytona 500 and finished 24th in points. Race sponsorships continued with 2 Cup races, Atlanta and California and 3 Busch races, Daytona, Pikes Peak and Michigan.
2002Continued NASCAR NEXTEL Cup team sponsorship ending the season with 1 win and 14th in points. Continued same race sponsorships as 2001.
2003Continued NASCAR NEXTEL Cup team sponsorship ending the season with 2 wins, including a second Daytona 500 victory and ending the season 15th in points.
2004Continued NASCAR NEXTEL Cup team sponsorship securing 9 top-10 finishes including runner up in the Coca Cola 600.
2005Continued NASCAR NEXTEL Cup team sponsorship. Won the Gatorade Dual 150, captured the pole at Pocono and finished 2nd at Phoenix. Posted 3 top 5 and 7 top 10 finishes.
2006Entered into a new NASCAR NEXTEL Cup team partnership with Bill Davis Racing and Michael Waltrip as the driver.
2007Part of Toyota’s initial entry into the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series as sponsor of the Michael Waltrip owned and operated NAPA #55 Toyota Camry.

Entered NHRA as an associate sponsor of Don Schumacher Racing.
2008Continued as primary sponsor of the NAPA #55 Toyota Camry in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series owned and driven by Michael Waltrip.

Entered into the NHRA Funny Car Division as primary sponsor of the Don Schumacher Racing owned NAPA Funny Car driven by Ron Capps.
