The craziness began with four laps to go when on a restart Mike Skinner went high on leader Ron Hornaday. Chad McCumbee then went underneath to take the lead as both Skinner and Hornaday, the two title contenders, spun out and crashed to bring out the red flag.
Then, on the green-white-checkered restart, McCumbee spun his tires trying to hold off Jack Sprague, got loose and was spun out by Sprague, driving McCumbee into the wall and ending the race giving third-place runner Musgrave the victory.
Skinner finished third and now has a 57-point lead, unofficially, on Hornaday, whose 33 truck suffered more damage than the 5 of Skinner's.
Brendan Gaughan finished second with Mike Bliss fourth and Rick Crawford rounding out the top five.
Sprague was credited with sixth place, followed by Matt Crafton in seventh, Jon Wood eighth, Jason Leffler ninth and Willie Allen 10th.
McCumbee went from a possible first win to 13th. Hornaday finished 18th.
