Ian Poulter sets his sights on Augusta
Dec 02, 2007 11:11:42
After his recent win at the Dunlop Phoenix, Ian has set his sights on next April's invitational Augusta. Ian was quoted by the Telegraph as saying "I base all of my tournaments around the majors and the next few I play are going to be based around getting ready for the Masters,". He was able to win the Dunlop Phoenix with a whopping 40 ft. putt and walked away with £175,000 plus a new Mercedes-Benz, but most importantly, he picked up a huge dose of confidence heading into 2008. He has decided to take two months off from Tournament play, but that doesn't mean he'll be sitting around idle. Be sure to see somthing special from Poulter in 2008.
