USA PARDUBICE, Czech Republic – Brad Marchand netted the game-winner midway through the third period as Canada’s National Junior Team advanced to the semi-finals of the IIHF World Junior Championship for the 10th consecutive year with a 4-2 quarterfinal win over Finland on Wednesday. The win moves the Canadians into a semi-final against the unbeaten Americans on Friday, setting up a rematch of last year’s classic semi-final. |
