 | |  | | |  | FOUR STRAIGHT GOLD MEDALS AT WORLD JUNIORS AFTER OVERTIME THRILLER PARDUBICE, Czech Republic – Matt Halischuk sealed his place in Canadian hockey lore on Saturday, scoring 3:36 into overtime to give the National Junior Team a 3-2 win over Sweden and its fourth consecutive gold medal at the IIHF World Junior Championship. Brad Marchand and Claude Giroux also scored for Canada, who will look to equal their record of five straight gold medals when the 2009 World Juniors come to Ottawa. |
