China with its industrial and economic strengths has captivated the world. More than any other nation China, in the minds of many, is the United States' foremost challenger for top world power. In August of this year, China with the great city of Beijing as the focal point will attempt to stage the Olympics of all Olympics. Beijing, better known by some as Peking, will grab the attention of millions around the world. Thousands of athletes from around the world will converge on Beijing for what is certainly looking to be the most extravagant Olympic Games ever.
