Until Poe is finally liberated from the horrible contractual entanglements that are preventing her from releasing a new album and touring, the Poe Ball will be touring the world in her place. That's right. A bright red Poe Ball is going to make its way around the globe accompanied by a leather bound journal. I like to think of the Ball as a little space probe, going out to meet all the folks that have hung in there with Poe for so long; and of course we hope that the Ball will make lots of new friends along the way. (Poe ball can also check out future places for Poe to perform, and thanks to the journal, it will bring back the stories of all the glorious Psychos that have had it in their POE-Zession!)

So many fans have offered to “carry the ball” while Poe is restrained, that the Ball is already set to visit every state in this country, and yes it's even going to Timbuk 2—Literally! Rumor has it also that the Ball will even brave a trip to Baghdad to see what's going on first hand.

Lots of folks are signing on, including the odd celebrity psychos, that see the Ball and Journal as good ambassadors for all that is independent and original. You can drop an artist like Poe---but the funny thing is, artists of her caliber have the ball-like tendency to keep bouncing!

Tomorrow Poe Ball will arrive in Dallas , where it's first destination will be an infamous anime festival called Project A-kon. Soon after, it will go to NYC where, rumor has it, it will play the toy of one of Michael Jackson's children, and/ a dating show applicant on a comedy sketch show. While in NYC it will go shopping with a famous drag queen, bounce to support Gay Pride, and hook up with as many NYC Psychos as it can find. Who knows what the next stop will be? An itinerary is in the works but I have a feeling there's going to be a lot of spontaneity involved! We'll definitely be keeping you Poested!
