Giada De Laurentiis Gives Birth to Baby Girl!

Celeb Tots is reporting that Today show correspondent and celebrity chef, Giada De Laurentiis, is the new mother of a baby girl! 

“De Laurentiis and husband Todd Thompson welcomed their first child, a healthy baby girl, on Saturday March 29 in Los Angeles,” her rep tellsPeople. “Jade Marie De Laurentiis Thompson weighed in at 5lbs, 13oz.”

This is the first baby for Giada and Tom, who have been married since 2003. 

Congratulations to them both!  I hope she gets over the shock of becoming a mother faster than she accepted being pregnant.  You might remember what she said when shemade that announcement: “When I found out I was pregnant I was in complete shock.  I truly didn’t believe it. I honestly thought, ‘There has got to be a mistake.’”
