March 8, 2007 - The Miami Dolphins today re-
signed defensive tackle Keith Traylor to a two-year
contract and signed kicker Jay Feely to a three-

“Re-signing Keith was an important objective of
ours heading into free agency, and I am pleased
that we were able to accomplish that,” said
Dolphins Head Coach Cam Cameron. “Keith gives
us a strong presence in the middle of the line, in
addition to the veteran leadership that he brings to
our team. He has been an integral part of the
success of the Dolphins’ defense over the last two
years and we feel as though he will continue to do
that.”
In 2006, Traylor started all 14 games in which he

all 43 PATs that year for a career-high figure of
148 points. Feely began his career as an undrafted
college free agent with the Atlanta Falcons in 2001
and immediately helped the Falcons’ special teams
unit as he produced 115 and 138 points in his first
two seasons, respectively. In just his second year
(2002), he connected on 80 percent of his field
goals (32 of 40) and registered 138 points as the
Falcons reached the Divisional Round of the
playoffs.
The 29-year-old Feely was a four-year letterman

career by converting 20-26 field goals and 43-44
PATs. He was a an honorable mention All-Big Ten

goals and 40-41 on PATs. Born May 23, 1976,
Feely attended Jesuit High School in Tampa, Fla.
