The Oshawa Generals staged a dramatic third
period comeback on Sunday that fans will be
talking about for some time to come.
Trailing 6-2 in the third period with 11 minutes to
play, the Generals scored four goals to force
overtime – the tying goal coming with one second
left in regulation time – and then potted the
overtime winner to stun the Kingston Frontencas 7-
6 in Kingston.
Michael Del Zotto scored the last second goal to tie
it and Kody Musselman then won it with his first
goal of the season 5:21 into overtime, giving
Oshawa a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven opening
round series.
Game 2 is at the General Motors Centre Tuesday
at 7:05 p.m.
