I have been modeling since I was 9 in Tokyo. But I always knew I was meant to be famous ever since I was a little girl. I loved to be in the spotlight. I loved to be the center of attention, entertaining people and making people laugh and smile.

Right now I am focusing more on acting than modeling although I do shoot once in a while on the side. I have some big projects coming up that will hopefully be very successful. It's very exciting to look forward to a busy and productive 2009. I do feel very lucky and privileged to be able to pursue my dreams like this. I realize that I've been given many opportunities and talents and I hope to be able to use them in a way that does the most good for myself, my family and the people I touch through my work.

My goal right now is to be happy. And to me that means not looking back and wishing I still lived in the past. Neither does it mean to anticipate a brighter future while dreading my present situation. I believe that people can find happiness no matter what their circumstances in life. That is the power of positive thinking and I am really striving to adopt that mentality so that my happiness isn't contingent upon success or failure. But rather I am able to find joy in this journey of my life and savor the ups as well as the downs and learn wisdom from it.

I appreciate everyone who has been supporting and encouraging me so far. I think a lot of my strength and courage come from knowing that the people that mean the most to me, my family and close friends, are behind me, rooting for me, cheering me on. That's what helps me keep at it in the face of disappointment, setbacks and discouragement. Thank you.
