Dr Phil McGraw has become one of the most well known talkshow hosts in the United States with his own television program, the Dr Phil Show. He advises families and couples on everything from human psychology, to health issues, and legal advise. He first became known from his regular appearances on the Oprah Winfrey show. He was born Phillip Calvin McGraw in Vinita, Oklahoma on the 1st of September, 1950. Dr Phil has three sisters. McGraw graduated from the Midwestern State University in 1975 with a B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) in psychology, and then went on to get a Masters in experimental psychology and a Doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of North Texas. In 1980 Phil McGraw founded the Courtroom Sciences, Inc.® (CSI®) company. The firm consults with individuals through to Fortune 500 companies, helping the legal profession with jury level research.
