Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey were among the guests playing paintball at Stapleford Park to help celebrate Prince Azim of Brunei's birthday last weekend, according to reports.

Prince Azim of Brunei reportedly threw a multi-million pound party at the luxury C&I venue in Leicestershire.

A Stapleford Park spokeswoman said: "It was an exclusive party and we don't reveal who attends our private house parties."

She confirmed, however, that the overseas-based event agency that organised the party was compiling a statement about the event.

Microsoft and Ford are among the corporates that have held events in the past at Stapleford Park, which offers several private meeting spaces.
