The manslaughter trial of Christopher Sean Pappas is slated to begin next week.
Jury selection will begin Monday at 9 a.m. in Court of Queen’s Bench in Peace River.
It will be the second trial for the 37-year-old Peace River area man after jurors were unable to reach a verdict after the weeklong trial in May 2005.

Police have charged four people in connection with vandalism and theft at Peace River’s Nova Hotel last September.
Peace River RCMP Staff Sgt. John Haney said the arrests resulted from assistance from the public.
