She has expressed a desire to have appearances in “some movies” in addition to “a couple of hit albums”. The Hills star Heidi Montag has denied reports she intentionally snubbed a Hollywood party celebrating the season Finale of the current TV series, insisting it is the event organisers who overlooked her. Montag and her boyfriend Spencer Pratt failed to show for the private bash in Beverly Hills on Monday night (12May08), despite both starring on the hit MTV Show.

When quizzed about Montag and Pratt’s whereabouts at the event, co-star Lauren Conrad insisted it wasn’t unusual for the pair to skip industry parties. The couple previously missed big parties for the show in Los Angeles and New York City. Conrad said, “It’s not weird to me (that Montag and Pratt are not here).” But, Montag’s publicist claims the couple was ignored when it came to invitation time – with her representative simply telling online gossip Marc Malkin they were “not invited”.

Maintaining a bicoastal celebrity status isn’t easy, but then again when you’re as dedicated to self-promotion as Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, it’s all part of the game.

Hills stars May get own show

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, the stars of MTV’s popular reality show The Hills, are reportedly in talks to star in their own series.

New York Post’s Page Six reports the couple has pitched a new reality show focused on their wedding preparations.

A source tells the tab Pratt was overheard at the Kobe Club Tuesday night, explaining the premise to MTV exec Tony DiSanto.
