CoCo Lee is the stage name of Ferren Lee-Kelly (李美林=Lǐ Měilín; also 李玟 Lǐ wen). CoCo Lee was born on Jan. 17, 1975 (age 32) in Hong Kong, China with ancestry from Harbin, China. Her father died when she was young. CoCo moved to San Francisco California with her mother and step father and sisters when She was only 10 years old. Coco Lee attended Raoul Wallenberg Traditional High School in San Francisco. While in school she started to develop her beautiful singing voice and followed her older sisters in entering several local singing contests. COCO later had a brief enrollment at the University of California at Irvine. CoCo is close to her mother, who has at times managed her career. CoCo did not come from a wealthy background, which has meant that she has been careful with the wealth earned through her singing career, and has expressed appreciation for the wealth she now has. she is a C-pop, Urban contemporary and Dance-pop star, who has also recorded albums in English, contributed to several movies and represented internationally-known products to the Asian market. She is currently singed to Sonymusic.
