Milan Lučić (born June 7th 1988) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player playing for the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League(NHL). He was raised in East Vancouver and is of Serbian descent. He was selected 50th overall by the Bruins in the second round of the 2006 NHL entry draft. He was the team captain of the Vancouver Giants in the Western Hockey League (WHL).

Lučić was named Most Valuable Player of the 2007 Memorial Cup after tallying seven points in five games and helping the Giants win the 2007 Memorial Cup.

On August 2nd 2007 Lučić signed an entry-level contract with the Bruins. Later that month, he was named captain of Team Canada for the 2007 Super Series against Russia.

Lučić played in his first NHL game on October 5th 2007 in a 4-1 loss to the Dallas Stars. He played for 6:53 and received a 5-minute major for fighting. His first goal came against the Los Angeles Kings a week later, on October 12, while recording a Gordie Howe Hat Trick during the same game.

On October 26th 2007, the Boston Bruins decided to keep Lučić on their roster, thus not sending him back to junior with the Vancouver Giants for the rest of the 2007-08 NHL season.

Lučić was selected to play in the 2007-08 NHL YoungStars game in Atlanta, Georgia.

Milan, the son of Dobrivoje Lučić and Snežana Kesa, has a younger brother, Nik, and an older brother, Jovan. His maternal uncle, Dan Kesa, played for the Vancouver Canucks, Pittsbourgh Penguins, Tampa Bay Lightning and Dallas Stars.
