Growing up in Laval, Quebec, a young Vanessa Blouin became interested in modeling from a young age. As she blossomed into a bona fide beauty herself, Vanessa decided to test the waters and give the business a try. Her big break came in 2005 when She participated in the Canadian version of the Miss Hawaiian Tropic Pageant. She made the most of the opportunity, walking away with the crown and earning entry into the international version of the contest, where she placed in the top 15 and won the award for "Miss Photogenic."

Looking to capitalize on her Hawaiian Tropic success, Vanessa hit the beach as the first-ever Canadian supermodel on Bikini.com. In addition to her pageantry experience, Vanessa's Bikini.com achievement proved to be a valuable stepping stone towards a lucrative modeling career. Vanessa has also graced the covers of magazines like Style and Performance and Sound, and has headlined the QC Tuning calendar. she's also learned the ropes as a ring girl for Interbox, has modeled for Body Glove and was chosen as Miss Castrol for 2006-2007. Vanessa's best years seem to be still ahead of her though; if She achieves her long-term goal of a career in communications, she'll be able to strike a perfect pose and find the perfect words to match it.
