Born Trevor Tahiem Smith, Jr. on May 20th, 1972. He was given the alias by fellow hip hop artist Chuck D of Public Enemy, in honor of former NFL wide receiver George \"Buster\" Rhymes. Busta Rhymes was first apart of a hip hop group named "The Leaders of The New School."
