Prince William has bought matching wooden bracelets as love tokens for him and Kate Middleton.

Wills, 25, made the loving gesture on idyllic Mustique.

He and his girlfriend, 26, are in the Caribbean for a week's holiday, raising such gossip about a proposal that some bookies stopped taking bets. No engagement ring has been seen, but a source said: "Wills gave Kate her bracelet in a restaurant. She looked thrilled."

The couple, staying at the 1,785-a-night Villa Alumbrera, are meant to wear the bangles whenever they are together. The source added: "They look so happy and in love."
