JIM JONES Biography

Joseph Jimmy Guillermo Jones II (born July 15, 1976), better known by his rap name Jim Jones, is an American rapper best known as a founding member of The Diplomats (a.k.a. Dipset). He is Co-CEO of Diplomat records, which publishes Dipset's music, and is director of A&R for Warner Music Group.

Jones was born in Harlem, New York to an Aruban
mother and a Puerto Rican father. At the age of 13, Jones moved to the Taft projects Harlem and met Dipset co-founder Cam'ron

He often wears a dark pair of sunglasses and rarely shows his eyes at performances or in videos. He is also known for making the Ed Hardy brand of clothing popular in the hip hop culture, as well as tight thermals that were previously used by the skate-boarding community.
