James Blunt: Singer Extraordinaire (Biography below) James Blunt is an English singer/songwriter whose fame went wild in 2005. Blunt's style is a mix of pop, rock, folk and adult contemporary. James plays a wide variety of instruments including the piano, guitar, organ, marimba and mellotron.
James Blunt is signed to Linda Perry's American label, Custard, and is the first British artist to top the American singes chart in nearly a decade. His song, You're Beautiful reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2006. Elton John is the last artist to have done this (in 1997).
