Now signed to Metro City Records (a division of Screaming Ferret Wreckords and distributed by Fontana/Universal Music), LILLIAN AXE plans to issue the as-yet-untitled new platter in 2007.

After an extended hiatus that left many fans wondering if they'd ever see the group up and running again, the melodic metallists have risen from the ashes and are preparing their first all-new studio album since 1993's Psychoschizophrenia.

Led by founding guitarist Steve Blaze, LILLIAN AXE earned the respect of Headbanger's Ball viewers coast to coast with such releases as 1988's self-titled debut and 1992's Poetic Justice - the latter of which saw the band turn a blind eye to the then-burgeoning grunge sound and stick to their stylistic guns.

The current LILLIAN AXE lineup includes:
