Band MembersJon Fratelli - Vocals & Guitar Barry 'Baz' Fratelli - Bass Guitar Mince Fratelli - Drums & Backing Vocals HistoryFirst gig - March 4th 2005 @ O'Henry's Bar, Glasgow, ScotlandThe bands first release was an EP on April 3rd 2006, entitled "The Fratellis EP" featuring the tracks "Creepin' Up The Backstairs", "Stacie Anne" and "The Guteratti". This EP was available for a limited time only hence copies now selling on eBay for up to $50.There are many theories as to the origins of the bands name. "Fratelli" is an Italian word meaning 'Brother', the band members however are not brothers. "Fratelli" is best remembered as the surname of a family of baddies in the 1985 movie "The Goonies", the band have denied any link to this movie though. The most likely theory is that they are named after the original surname of bassist Barry, which was reportedly "Fratelli" February 14th 2007 saw the band become household names in the Uk when they were awarded the "best British Breakthrough Act" at the Brit Awards.Discography
