Mini Biography
Andrew Karlsruher is a sophomore at Boston University from the suburbs of Philadelphia. He produced, wrote and directed the award-winning short film "Today Was Thursday", a futuristic day-in-the-life visual-poem about teenagers coping with the aftermath of a biological attack on the United States. Andrew is currently touring film festivals with "Translating Genocide," a documentary produced by mtvU about refugees from Darfur. In March 2005, Andrew was part of a team that traveled to Sudan to hear the stories of the victims of the conflict. This past summer, Andrew wrote and directed "Senioritis" for the prestigious FOX Searchlab. The short is about four childhood friends and their heyday in the lame-duck-period that is senior year of high school.
