Mini Biography
"Amazing" is the word most often used to describe Austin Williams. At the age of two, Austin started to spell words and recognize five digit numbers by name. By four, he had taught himself to read books and solve math problems. During first grade,Austin was given an IQ test and scored 99.9%. Austin is therefore,literally, a genius. He went on to skip second grade and still maintains a perfect report card.
Austin's acting career began at the age of 8, when Robert De Niro chose him play a young Matt Damon in "The Good Shepherd". At 9, Austin landed his first leading role as Henry Clayton, in "Michael Clayton", playing George Clooney's precocious son. Austin's performance in the film, which was nominated for 7 Academy Awards including Best Picture, was praised by critic Roger Ebert and others.
By 10, Austin had completed several more feature film leading roles, including a fun stint as a bully to Elle Fanning in "Phoebe in Wonderland", which premiered at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. Austin also enjoyed portraying the evil twin of his real life younger sister Amber Joy Williams in a movie also starring Adrian Pasdar and Cady McClain, to be released sometime in the future.
During that same year, Austin got his start in both Primetime and Daytime TV. In the month when Austin first began appearing on "One Life to Live" as "Shane", he also filmed a dramatic role in an 18th Season Episode of "Law & Order", with Sean Astin and the "L&O" cast.
When not on set, (his favorite place to be), Austin likes skateboarding and playing baseball, basketball and video games with friends. He has a photographic memory, which helps when learning lines, and still enjoys Math - in fact, he is the defending champion of his school's Math League. Austin feels lucky to be an actor and hopes to continue working as one - forever.

His dad is an Athletic Director and coaches Austin and his teammates in Baseball and Basketball.
Austin's family adopted their dog from Petfinder.org.
Austin's grandfather recently retired after 37 years of service with the New York City Fire Department. He was a Battalion Chief on the upper East side of Manhattan.
Austin's mom was a Prosecutor at the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office before he was born. She never went back as planned, because being a mom was too much fun!
He has played the brother of his real life sister Amber Joy Williams on Saturday Night Live - as Cameron Diaz's kids. He has also played Amber's fraternal twin in a movie to be released in 2008.
