Mini Biography

Tall, scruffy-haired and with a broad handle-bar moustache, Bill Stalker made an ideal television cop, a role he first filled as Detective Peter Fanelli on Crawford Productions' soap 'Cop Shop'. This character was recycled for the same company's early 1980s airline drama, 'Skyways', after Fanelli purportedly resigned from the police force and became head of airport security in Melbourne. With the series at its peak, Stalker was killed in a motorcycle accident.
