Lets begin at the beginning. Brett was born on November 17, 1983 on his mothers birthday in San Jose, California. He lived in Morgan Hill until the age of 17. Brett wasn't like other children that he grew up near. He spent 8 weeks every year from, conception until his 17 year of life, in the wild. Brett's parents, father Raymond, and mother Gloria were both Science teachers. Gloria taught physical science at Briton Middle school in Morgan Hill. Raymond taught High School kids locked up for crimes in Morgan Hill as well. Having these jobs it allowed for a summer of freedom. Having their intense love for science they would take the family in their R.V. camping for 8 weeks out of the year. This lead Brett to have many adventures, and pushed his boundaries both mentally and physically. Brett gained a comfort in any situation, from living with members of the Hopi, Zuni, Navaho and other Native American tribes for weeks on end.

Brett is as comfortable in a rock quarry, fossil bed, rain dance, or mountain top as any place on Earth. He is currently sponsored for backpacking and canyoneering, and hikes every chance he can. He describes himself as an Actor/outdoors man, and is a wilderness guide for the company Rec. Specs.

During High School Brett began to find his own stride as a man. Finding that a life in the gym was a great way to gain popularity amongst the ladies. After a bout with anorexia and bulimia he was in the gym twice a day, and gained 100 pounds of muscle in a year. He found he was genetically predisposed to gain muscle at a rapid rate. He won the title of Mr. Live Oak his senior year, for body building. During High school Brett became interested in Law enforcement, where he enrolled in the Sheriffs Teen academy in Gilroy. After graduation he moved to Fresno and began Classes at C.S.U.. Fresno in Criminology. Brett joined the Sigma Chi Fraternity after his first week of college, and is still an active alumni member today. After his first real police ride along and tour of a Fresno prison, he gave up on law enforcement and turned to keniesology. He jumbled majors for a year until he found Communication. Brett excelled, and was encouraged to audition for a College play where he was cast, and fell in love with the stage. He began pursuing acting with a ferocity not yet seen at Fresno State.

At the end of Brett's college career, he was working 35 hours a week at Herb Bauer sporting goods, taking 23 units a semester, doing at least 2 plays a semester and his final semester landed his debut role in the feature film "Hot Rod Horror". After the film's completion, Brett was compelled to move to Hollywood, and he did. He made the decision within a week while backpacking in Havasupi region of the Grand Canyon. He moved into an apartment in West Hollywood, and landed an audition his second day and was working his third day for a theater. He struggled hard during the Writers Strike, but managed to stay a float. He became a member of the Screen Actors Guild is record time, and is currently pursuing his passion for acting. He extensively studies and is influenced by Eric Morris, Constantin Stanislavski, Sanford Meisner, and Commedia dell'arte. Brett is writing his own language to quantify acting, by the use of the International Phonetic Alphabet, Conversation Analysis, and the Integrated System for Facial Expression Recognition.

Trivia

The character of Dash Riprock, in the play "The Adventures of Dash Riprock" by Mark Wilson is based entirely on Brett.

Brett is a proud member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity.
