Brooke Anderson is a culture and entertainment anchor and producer for CNN. Based in CNN's Los Angeles bureau, Anderson joined the network in July 2000 as an anchor for CNN Quickcast, a correspondent for CNN Headline News and as a contributing reporter for CNN/U.S. and CNN Newsource.
Anderson has covered numerous events for CNN Headline News, including the 2004 Academy Awards and Golden Globes, 2003 MTV Video Music Awards, NBA All-Star Weekend, Fall Fashion Week in New York City and Atlanta's Music Midtown.
She has coordinated, produced and reported segments for the network with Hollywood newsmakers including Antonio Banderas, Nicolas Cage, 50 Cent, Johnny Depp, George Clooney, Salma Hayek, Beyonce Knowles, Heath Ledger, Jennifer Lopez, Fleetwood Mac, Aerosmith's Joe Perry, Kevin Spacey and Uma Thurman, among others.
Anderson's live on-air interviews have featured The Doors Of The 21st Century, Thomas Jane, JET, Spike Jonze, Ben Kingsley, Johnny Knoxville, Spike Lee, Ludacris, Outkast, Ridley Scott, Morgan Spurlock, Patrick Swayze, Usher, Nia Vardalos and Pharrell Williams, among others.
In February 2003, she received the National Daily Point of Light Award for volunteerism from President George W. Bush.
Anderson graduated with honors from the University of Georgia's Grady School of Journalism and Mass Communication with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism.
