Mini Biography
After more than a decade in restaurant management, Cadichon redirected his career to film production and enrolled at the world's largest film school, Columbia College, Chicago. He graduated in 2001 with honors earning a degree in screenwriting, producing and directing. In 1999, he began the production of Midwest Talent, "the yellow pages" of talent in the Midwest to assist independent filmmakers with casting and musical needs. While in school he wrote, produced and directed several short films, many of which were among the best of class. Prior to graduation, he was flown to Germany to direct a music video for the German Hip Hop group Shienreisen which aired on MTV Germany and MTV UK.
Shortly after graduation Cadichon worked on the MGM feature, Barbershop as assistant to the producer, Bob Teitel. For his dedication to the continued development of Midwest Talent and support of independent production, he was elected to the board of directors for The Independent Feature Project Chicago, (AKA IFP Chicago) a national not-for-profit service organization dedicated to providing resources, information and avenues of communication for independent filmmakers.
Currently, Cadichon lives in Los Angeles, California and is producing a feature length documentary titled Sight, Sound & Silence which captures a deaf, aspiring filmmaker's journey to make a movie. Cadichon is also restructuring Midwest Talent into a Global Project housed on the Internet under an umbrella site which he has named The Indie Caf  Cadichon  La Ferme à Cadichon |
