Mini Biography
Carissa was born on the island of Jamaica of East Indian and African parentage. At the age of nine she moved to London England where she lived for a year before settling in the Bay Area. During her time in Jamaica, she became a member of the drama club, but did not consider the craft as an outlet until the year 2000 when she began studying at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. She attended ACT for almost two years studying a variety of subjects including but not limited to Shakespeare, Physical Acting/Clowning, Speech learning the International Phonetic Alphabet, and Dialects.
