Carlos R. Bardasano is Executive Vice President of Entertainment of Telemundo (a division of NBC Universal)and reports to President Don Browne.

Carlos R. Bardasano began his television career at Universal Studios in Los Angeles, working on NBC prime time sitcoms. He later held supervisory and executive positions at Paramount Pictures and Columbia Tristar International Television, also working on prime time projects.

Bardasano was most recently Vice President of Programming Development of Univision Television Networks (Univision, TeleFutura and Galavision) where he was in charge of building fresh and innovative programming for Univision's broadcast and cable networks. While at Univision, he created and developed "Lo Veremos Todo", the most watched reality show in Spanish television. Later on, his team developed "Selena Vive", Univision's highest audience ever, becoming the number one show in English or Spanish.

Carlos R. Bardasano was also Vice President of Programming at Telemundo Network (2000-2003), in charge of all prime time programming and production. Here, he authored major output and co-production deals with international producers and broadcasters such as RTI, Tepuy, Globo, Caracol, and Promofilm. One of his biggest contributions to the network's growth was the acquisition of Telemundo's highly rated show, "Betty, la Fea".

He was responsible for Telemundo's first international co-production, "Amantes del Desierto" and the first reality show in US Hispanic, "Protagonistas de Novela". In addition, Bardasano was in charge of Globo's first production, in a language other than Portuguese, in co-production with Telemundo. Bardasano made the transition into Telemundo after working as Production Executive of Columbia Tristrar International Television, Telemundo's parent company at the time. He joined Sony Pictures Entertainment in 1999.

Bardasano was awarded a Master of Science Degree in Television Management and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Boston University.

He is married to Maria Jose Barraza and lives in Coral Gables, Florida.
