Mini Biography
In May of 2000, Charles developed and produced his first feature film Pendulum (2001). Utilizing his experience in finance, he successfully secured private funding for the independent film, and later secured distribution through Artisan Entertainment, Blockbuster and HBO. Charles has since created Arrival Pictures for the purpose of developing, producing and licensing for profit independent feature films. The first feature film production under this banner is Drop Dead Sexy (2005) starring Jason Lee and Crispin Glover. The film is scheduled to be released in late 2005.
Prior to entering the film industry, Charles earned a degree in Business Finance from the University of San Diego, which led him to pursue a career as a Financial Consultant with Merrill Lynch. Charles sits on several advisory boards including the Dallas Producers Association and the Deep Ellum Film Festival. He has spoken on panels at SXSW Film Festival and the Austin Film Festival.
