Charles W. Davidson hails from Nashville, Tennessee the home of country music. The son of hardworking lower middle-class parents, he was lucky to have discovered his gift for literary expression early. By the time he had entered grammar school, Charles had won numerous essay and short-story contests. When he earned an academic scholarship to the rigorous and prestigious Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville, it was not long before his talent and hard work made him a standout among the halls of gifted students. Charles garnered several awards for his writing work in middle school and throughout high school. He finally graduated with honors and multiple literary awards in 1998 and was accepted to Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. Though inspired to pursue Business as a major, writing was a consistent passion throughout his college career. For two straight years Charles won the campus-wide poetry contest and contributed to the Atlanta University Center's weekly newspaper regularly. He even published an inspirational book of poetry shortly thereafter that is presently available through Barnes and Noble Book Stores and Amazon.com. After Graduating with a degree in Business Administration from Morehouse College with honors in May 2003, Charles decided to stay from the corporate path he was following and set a detailed plan in motion to enter a field he was truly passionate about; entertainment. This is when his interest in the craft of acting and screenwriting began to fully surface. The completion of his very first screenplay proved to be a tremendous learning experience and showed him that the only option was total immersion in the writing process. By early 2005 Charles had done the research, taken numerous classes, and saved money to make the move to the epicenter of the entertainment world. Since that time, the entertainment industry has become his world. Charles has since completed two feature length screenplays, a treatment, and is currently working on his biggest feature screenplay yet that he is co-writing entitled "The Luckiest Man" which is sure to be a big crossover box office hit. For him there is no option besides the total success he has imagined for himself. Charles W. Davidson has demonstrated the focus, discipline and drive that it takes to make a name for himself in Hollywood.
