Mini Biography

Chrystale Wilson was born in Atlanta, Georgia and raised in Sacramento, California by her mother, Ethel Cook-Wilson. After completing her education at Sacramento City College, she moved back to Atlanta where she worked for several major law firms before auditioning and receiving her first major film role. In l998, Chrystale debuted in _Players Club, The (1998/I)_, written and produced by Ice Cube. As Ronnie, a scene-stealing villainess, she received rave reviews.

Chrystale has since appeared in Trois (2000), a Rob Hardy Production which premiered in Paris, France and was released in the United States, February, 2000. Director John Luessenhop has critically praised her stellar performance and professionalism.

Chrystale's talents are not only manifested in front of the camera, but in other domains of film-making as well. She wrote and produced a film titled Groupies (2000), in which she plays the lead character Mia Moore. Others featured in the film are Gipp Goodie (Goodie Mobb) and veteran actor Bill Nunn. Chrystale's entrepreneurial abilities, she sought capital investors and secured financing for the project. Having earned the reputation for being a starlet as well as a producer, Chrystale has gone on to star and produce yet another film, titled The Kudzu Christmas (2002) (V). Kudzu wrapped production in Fall 2002 and was released Dececember, 2002.

Look for Chrystale in the suspense thriller _Pandora's Box (2002/I)_ released August, 2002; where she plays Tammy Racine, the troubled wife of record producer, Lance Racine (Tyson Beckford).

While actively pursuing her career in writing and producing, Chrystale also looks forward to her future roles in film and/or television. Chrystale admits, "The color of rain is so clear to me now, it washed away my pain as I hide amongst the clouds, and all of the storms I have come to know, I'm not afraid anymore they have allowed me to grow." May continued growth and success reign in the life of this multi-talented young woman...Chrystale.

Two years prior to starring in The Players Club she was a stripper in Atlanta while working at a law firm.
