Composer and conductor, educated at the University of Bucharest with a Master of Arts degree and additional degrees from the National Conservatory in composition and conducting. He has guest-conducted throughout Europe, and he conducted the Romanian Cinematography Orchestra between 1951 and 1959, the Ulster Conservatory of Belfast between 1969 and 1974, and the Broadcasting Orchestra of Nord Picardie in Lille between 1973 and 1975.
