Mini Biography

Director of Photography in Los Angeles since 1989 working almost exclusively in the independent feature world. Started career in San Francisco shooting documentaries and commercials and then moved into fashion and glamour as both still photographer and cinematographer. Cinematographer for A Day in the Life of Bonnie Consolo (1975) which was nominated for an Academy Award in the documentary/short category. Shot his first short feature "The Prof" [1968] while attending the University of Southern Mississippi. Also active as fine art still photographer and has been awarded Blue Ribbon honors at the Ansel Adams Gallery in Monterey, California, for his large format fine art photography.
