Mini Biography
Born August 23, 1969 in New Bedford Massachusetts. Son of Carol and Ken VerCammen with one older sister Colleen who is married and now bears the last Name Chiron. He attended Holy Family-Holy name Elementary School and Bishop Stang High School. He attended AIC for two semesters then moved to South Florida where he attended PBCC. He left college to open, and operate Dream Romm Incorporated while pursuing his acting career.
After landing roles including but not limited to "T's Lounge Show", "Harmony Street" and _Creep, The (1995)_, he took the advice of his friends and peers to head West. At the age of 28 he made the move to Los Angeles. He is employed as a Private Investigator while in between acting jobs. In Los Angeles he has been booked as Todd on the "Bold and The Beautiful" and Agent Harland on "Robbery Homicide Division" is another of his recent credits. He also made his debut on the big screen in the motion picture "Shrink Rap." Ken VerCammen has written the screenplays "Runaway Weekend", "Full Circle", and your "Your Time is Up".
Mini Biography
Ken VerCammen was Born in a small New England town and new at an early age that he wanted to act. At the age of twenty he moved to South Florida to join the Burt Reynold's Jupiter Dinner Theatre. A week after he made the move the school changed hands and he made other plans. While living in South Florida he owned and operated Dream Room Incorporated while he pursued his acting career. In South Florida he had multiple talent agents. He appeared on several episodes of the hit television Show "Wiseguys" as a bartender and made appearances on numerous other television series such as "South Beach" and "BL Stryker". He appeared in "Cape Fear" and as a Valet in "Folks". While in South Florida he landed larger roles in the motion picture "The Creep" and the television series "Harmony Street". South Florida is known for commercials he also landed countless television commercials.
While in college he majored in Dramatic Art and played the officer in William Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night."
At the age of 28 he made the move to Los Angeles, California. In LA some of his credits are including but not limited to Todd on "The Bold and The Beautiful", FBI agent in Michael Mann's "Collateral and Malek the bartender on "Charmed."
Other industry credits include but also are not limited to 2nd Assistant Director on "Alaska" the AFI's Directing workshop for woman directed by Annetta Marion, 1st Assistant Director on the independent film "Twist of Fate", performed his own stunts on the television Show "Robbery Homicide Division" and worked as a Scuba Grip on "Switchfoots" latest music video.
Ken VerCammen has written "Runaway Weekend", "Your Time IS UP" and "Full Circle".
Trivia
Was certified as an advanced, open water, swift diver at the age of 13.
First Time on a set was while he lived in South Florida. He played a train station vendor in Burt Reynold's BL Stryker television series.
Owns two pit-bull mixes that he rescued. one from the streets of South Central, Los Angeles, California while working on a case the other from a shelter.
Taught Shaolin Kempo and is trained in Kendo.
Was not cast as a regular however appeared in the trailer for the television Show Angel for the first three seasons.
Favorite foods, Maine Lobster and Sushi.
Favorite recreational activities are scuba diving and fishing.
First job was as an Usher at Cinema 140.
His nationality is Portoguese, Irish and French-Canadian. He was Born and raised in the United States.
Was cast in the independent film "Shut Up and Shoot" however his scene was deleted before it was ever filmed because of budgeting restrictions.
