Mini Biography

Armed with his encyclopaedia of contacts, and in-depth production and financial knowledge within the film industry, Luke G Jones is an all rounder in the world of independent film making. Having previously worked with Working Title and Future Film Group, amongst others, Luke has a track record in raising investment, co-producing features and implementing strategic alliances and key deals in all areas of the film making process. A respected tax and film investment expert, Luke has had articles published in various trade journals, including Screen International, and is regularly invited to give presentations by key commissions and bodies within the industry. Luke was the Executive Producer of "Fakers", a wholly British Feature film that was one hundred percent financed through private funds and UK subsidies, utilising a series of different tax breaks including Section 48, the EIS finance scheme and sold internationally by Content Film. This film is released soon in the US through Indican Distribution. Last year Luke G-Jones moved to Los Angeles to work as the Head of Co-Productions and Finance for a Beverly Hills based Sales and Distribution company. He has also recently launched an independent production, finance and sales representation company, Cool Hand International. Through this company, Luke is currently involved in over half a dozen film projects at various stages, ranging from development to finished features.
