Trivia
Whilst working as newsreader for Southern Television he once interviewed .Ball, Lucille' in a cupboard at the Hilton Hotel in London whilst a party was going on all around them. Was forced to retire in 1961 after developing polio. Subsequently worked as a newsreader at Southern Television and became head of TV programming with Gibraltar Broadcasting in 1964.
