Her husband, Bill Tai, is a general partner in the Silicon Valley office of Charles River Ventures. Their second child, the daughter Delphine, was born on December 24th 2002.
Michelle grew up in Berlin and Paris before eventually settling in San Francisco. She was a principal dancer with a modern dance company for 5 years during and after the completion of her studies at UCLA.
