Born in San Antonio, Texas to parents Miriam and David Aguirre, Niki grew up with an innate determination to be successful in whatever she set her mind to accomplish.

Steadfast and always enthusiastic Niki has constantly been a committed learner and diligently devoted to her studies. She graduated from Ronald Reagan High School with honors in 2002 receiving a scholarship in music from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Her desire for challenge lead her to major in Pre-Med Biology and a minor in the Russian language.

Presently, the majority of her time is spent in academia, but Niki manages to swing focus from her studies to her other passion as an actor and film producer. Along side her brother, Davy Aguirre, Niki formed The New World Film Company. Upon graduation from the University of Texas at San Antonio Niki plans to expand her talents in acting and film. With an audacious spirit, memorable charisma and cleverness we will undoubtedly see her continue to flourish into an extraordinary talent and personality.

Originally auditioned for the role of Sharon in the film Tears (2005) but was considered too young for the part. The role was given to actress, Ellen Aguirre (no relation).

When she first began her music studies her teacher wanted to put her on flute but later decided on clarinet because her lips were too full for a desired flute embouchure.

Her mother is an occupational therapist and her father works in accounting.

Her interest in acting was sparked in middle school. She was able to study theater in her first year of high school but had to stop due to the high demand of her music studies. She didn't return to acting until her second year in college.

She has been volunteering at the San Antonio State Hospital since she was fifteen years old; she is very interested in the study of mental illnesses.

Her first student film was a documentary that dealt with the issue of mental illness. This was the project that further seeded her desire to pursue a career in the film industry.

While in college, filmed a parody of Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) titled "Sasha's Day Off". The film was an honors project that was filmed entirely in the Russian language.

Her father was a model, actor and musician in the late 1970s.

Has primarily studied acting with Mona Lee Fultz.

In the summer of 2005 interned at The University of Texas at Dallas in the department of microbiology.

Loves classic films and is a fan of Mickey Rooney, Judy Garland and Audrey Hepburn.
